The solution provides simplified management of common database administrative activities, such as continuous monitoring and storage with automatic backup.

Amazon RDS makes it easy to set up, operate, and scale your Relational Database deployments in the cloud. Through it, it is possible to make scalable deployments in a matter of minutes, with scalable and cost-effective hardware capacity.
It manages complex and time-consuming administrative tasks such as software installation and upgrade, storage management, replication for high availability and read throughput, and backups for disaster recovery.
Each Engine has a specific way of dealing with each of these situations, and it is advisable that the databases are configured by trained and specialized professionals.
The AWS Schema Conversion Tool (AWS SCT) is an interface that automatically converts the database schema of an existing engine at the source into a format that is compatible with your target instance within the AWS Cloud.
AWS SCT allows you to convert relational OLTP schemas and data warehouse schemas. If the schema of a source database cannot be converted automatically, AWS SCT provides guidance for creating an equivalent schema in a database in the AWS Cloud.
AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS) is a database migration service (both on-premises and in the cloud) for Amazon. The process is carried out quickly, stably and safely, without causing damage to the current environment.
